About Xavier University

Xavier University is a Jesuit Catholic higher level institution which was established in 1831. It is situated in Cincinnati, Ohio, US.

In the first year the university provides modules such as A Short History of the Future, Socrates Meets Jesus, Reading the Web, Bob Dylan, Bicycling our Bioregion and Pop Culture and Civil Rights. Students can also choose from many different major and minor programmes. The university has an 11 to one student to faculty ratio.

Students can compete in sports teams such as baseball, basketball, cross country, golf, soccer, swimming, tennis, track and field and volleyball.

There are 160 student sports, academic and general interest clubs. They range from animal, people and the Earth at Xavier, French club, yoga and holistic awareness club, art society, math club and fencing club.
