About Taibah University

Based in Medinah, Taibah University takes its title from one of the former names of the Saudi Arabian city. It was founded in 2003.

It started with seven colleges inherited from Muhammad bin Saud Islamic University and King Abdul Aziz University. It has now grown to incorporate 28 – eight of them in medicine and allied health disciplines - plus a Higher Institute of Imams. Sixteen colleges are based in Medinah and others in Yanbu (five) and Ola (two) plus community colleges in Hinckiyah, Khaibar, Almahid, Badr and Ola.

New courses will be introduced in artificial intelligence, data science and analysis, cybersecurity, nursing and four branches of engineering.
