About Fujian Agriculture and Forestry University
Fujian Agriculture and Forestry University was created in 2000 by the merger of Fujian Forestry College and Fujian Agriculture University.
The university is jointly sponsored by the Ministry of Agriculture, the state Forestry Administrations and Fujian provincial government.
There are 20 colleges at the university offering a range of courses including life sciences, food science, forestry, plant protection and material engineering among others. The university offers a range of interesting degree courses including tea science and bee science.
The university is made up of three campuses. The main one is in the Cangshan district of Fuzhou, another in Minham-Quishan and the Anxi College of Tea Science is in Quenzhou City.
The International College, founded in 2001, takes responsibility for a range of joint programmes with Canadian universities, including three programmes with Dalhousie University and an ecology degree shared with the University of British Columbia.
Over time it has set up 160 experimental and training programmes to encourage student innovation.
