About The College of Saint Rose

Established in 1920, the College of Saint Rose is based in historic Albany, the capital city of New York State, US. The university is independently funded by the Sisters of Saint Joseph of Carondelet, who also founded the college.

It offers 43 undergraduate and 29 master’s programmes, including accounting, biochemistry, biology, business administration, business economics, chemistry, communications, English, elementary education, finance, forensic psychology, graphic design, history, human resource management, marketing, mathematics, medical technology, music, political science, psychology, public health, social work, and studio art

The university athletics team participates in NCAA Division II sports, such as basketball, cross country, golf, soccer, softball, swimming and diving, tennis, track and field, volleyball and lacrosse.

In addition to athletic offerings, there are around 40 student clubs and co-ed intramural sports ranging from cheer-leading to Ultimate Frisbee.

 The student body is comprised of people from across the United States, and has a notable cohort of international students.
