About The College of Idaho
Established in 1891, College of Idaho is a private liberal arts college in Caldwell, Idaho, US.
Its 26 degrees majors and 58 minors cover areas such as anthropology, art, biology, business and accounting, chemistry, education, English, environmental studies, health and human performance, history, mathematics and physical sciences, modern foreign languages, music, philosophy and religious studies, political economy, psychology, theatre and speech arts.
The student body includes many international students from 46 countries, and a fifth of the students are of a US Hispanic, African-American, Asian-American, American Indian or multi-ethnic background. The US students represent 28 states.
College of Idaho offers 19 varsity sports such as baseball, basketball, cross country, football, golf, lacrosse, skiing, soccer, swimming, track and field, skiing, softball and tennis. Over a third of students get involved in student athletics. The college has registered a lot of successes at individual and team national championships, including 27 titles between 2011 and 2016.
In addition, there are over 50 student clubs doing music, theatre, art, debate and intramural sports, as well as sororities and fraternities, which you can join on campus.
The campus is located half an hour from central Boise, where students can access the cultural, artistic, entertainment, professional sports events and lots of restaurants and clubs. You can also do skiing, whitewater rafting, hiking, mountain biking and wildlife viewing.
