About Albion College

Albion College is a liberal arts college in Albion, Michigan in the US, affiliated with the United Methodist Church. The university's official colours are purple and gold.

There are approximately 30 majors on offer at the institution all under the Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Fine Arts umbrella.

There are around 100 student organisations covering academia, sports, arts, diversity awareness and community engagement. The sports teams are nicknamed the Britons.

In 2006, Albion College moved to create a more sustainable environment both for the students and the residents of city. Some of the ways in which the university implemented this was by introducing organic food into the campus diners, using napkin dispensers and installing sprinklers that use less water.

The university is part of the Great Lakes Colleges Association and the Michigan Campus Compact which encourages student volunteering.
