About Ubon Ratchathani Rajabhat University
Ubon Ratchathani Rajabhat University was established in 1987 as a regional campus of Khon Kaen University. Three years later it attained full university status and became an independent university under its current name.
As its name suggests, the university is located in Ubon Ratchathani, one of Thailand’s 26 provinces.
The university is comprised of three faculties: arts, humanities and social sciences, health sciences, and science and technology. Within each faculty are different colleges, which offer a range of degree programmes at both undergraduate and graduate level.
It has developed partnerships with several other higher education institutions across the globe such as the University of Graz in Austria, the University of Health Sciences in Cambodia, and the Ganesha University of Education in Indonesia.
