About Eastern Mediterranean University
Eastern Mediterranean University is in the city of Famagusta, North Cyprus and was set up in 1979. It is one of the oldest universities in the region.
The medium of instruction is English and Turkish, with a majority of the programs available in the English language. Degree and double major opportunities may be acquired in one of the 12 faculties (architecture, arts and sciences, business and economics, communication and media studies, dentistry, education, engineering, health sciences, law, medicine, pharmacy and tourism) and five schools (computing and technology, health services, justice, tourism and hospitality management, foreign languages and English preparatory school).
Eastern Mediterranean University welcomes international students from over 100 countries and offers a wide range of extracurricular activities, including sports, music, and art.
Facilities include modern buildings and classrooms, advanced laboratory equipment, and library. The university also offers housing and cafeterias on campus
