About Bulacan State University
Bulacan State University is located in the province of Bulacan, Philippines and was established in 1904 as an intermediate school.
Bulacan State University has since evolved into a university that offers a wide range of undergraduate and graduate programmes.
The university faculties are architecture and fine arts, arts and letters, business administration, criminal justice education, hospitality and journalism management, information and communication technology, industrial technology, law, nursing, engineering, education, science, sports, exercise and recreation, and social science and philosophy.
Bulacan State University has set up several research centres and institutes, including the Centre for Research in Environmental Science and Technology and the Institute for Climate and Sustainable Cities. These centres and institutes conduct research on a range of topics, including environmental sustainability, climate change, and social development.
The university also works closely with local communities to address issues such as poverty, health, and education. The extension programmes include training and capacity building for farmers, health promotion campaigns and educational outreach programmes for underserved communities.
