About Bethel University-Indiana
Bethel University is an evangelical Christian university of arts and sciences founded in 1947 in Mishawaka, Indiana in the USA.
The university is associated with the Christian Missionary Church.
Today Bethel is home to a student body that numbers a couple of thousand, and offers undergraduate and graduate degree programs in a range of subjects. Teaching takes place across three schools: Arts & Sciences, Humanities & Social Sciences and the School of Nursing. More than 50 different undergraduate programmes are on offer, many of them bachelor’s, in subjects ranging from biochemistry to church music to nursing. Bethel is recognised for the quality of its nursing teaching with a very high rate of graduates going on to medical school.
Master’s-level programmes are available in Business Administration, Education and Theology.
The campus is home to residential, academic and administrative buildings as well as shops and cafes, sports facilities and places of worship.
Bethel’s aim is to equip its students with the skills and confidence to take leading roles in the world and in the church upon their graduation. Over the years Bethel has hosted many foreign students who wished to study abroad there, and the international students team works hard to make everyone feel at home.
