About Al-Hussein Bin Talal University
Founded in 1999, Al-Hussein Bin Talal University was the first higher educational institute established during the reign of H.M. King Abdullah II. Initially established as a branch for Mu’tah University, it later moved to a permanent campus in September 2004.

The university encompasses nine colleges and two deanships, each contributing to a diverse range of academic disciplines.
Research is a core part of the university's activities, conducted at various research centres, including the Academic Development and Quality Assurance Centre, the Renewable Energy Research and Development Centre, and the Al Anbat Centre for Archaeological Studies.
