About Tarlac Agricultural University
Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU), based in Malacampa, Camiling, Tarlac, has roots dating back to 1944 when it was known as a high school with just 368 students.
It became an independent agricultural college in 1974, before officially being given university status in 2016.
At present, TAU offers undergraduate and graduate programmes across its different departments such as: agriculture and forestry, arts and sciences, business and management, education, engineering and technology, and veterinary medicine. TAU also has a laboratory school which houses both its junior high school and senior high school programmes.
On campus, students will find a library, housing, modern well-equipped laboratories and sports facilities.
The university also has partnerships with other universities worldwide offering students the chance to spend a year studying abroad.
These partnerships with universities worldwide have also paved the way for faculty exchange and advanced research opportunities.
