About University of the Western Cape

The University of the Western Cape is a public university located in the Bellville suburb of Cape Town, South Africa and was established in 1959.

There are seven faculties at the university including arts, community and health sciences, dentistry, economic and management sciences, education, law and natural science. The Faculty of Dentistry is South Africa’s leading dental school.

Facilities include campus accommodation, student services, career services and campus healthcare

Students can join a range of clubs including choir, varsity sports teams and student council.
