These data, which are taken from Elsevier’s SciVal tool, track research papers in the period 2011-15.
Each academic listed in the table has the highest average citation count across their papers in each broad subject area.
The data employed here include only researchers with many publications to their name in the period, so those who have garnered lots of citations with just a handful of papers have been filtered out.
