About Western Sydney University
Western Sydney University is located in the Greater Western region of Sydney, Australia. In 2015, the university rebranded and changed it's names from the University of Western Sydney to Western Sydney University.
The university offers undergraduate, postgraduate, and higher research degrees with campuses in Bankstown, Blacktown, Campbelltown, Hawkesbury, Liverpool, Parramatta, and Penrith.
The university is split into 13 schools including the school of business, the school of nursing and midwifery, the school of computer, data and mathematical sciences and the school of health sciences among others.
There are over 90 student clubs that students can get involved with which fall under the following categories: social life, cultural, religious, sporting, political, and programme related. The are different clubs at each of the campuses.
There are a range of facilities on campus for students to enjoy including a number of art galleries, the Penrith Observatory, Campbelltown Rotary Observation and a gym,
Western Sydney University offers $25 million in scholarships every year, which are funded by both the university and external donors.
