About University of Lampung
Established in 1965, Lampung University is based in Bandar Lampung, the capital and largest city of the Indonesian province of Lampung.
Initially the university had just two faculties - law and economics - however over the years, more courses have subsequently been added.
Now, students can study a variety of degrees at undergraduate level, within eight faculties, including: agriculture, social and political sciences, economics, education, law, mathematics and natural science, medicine and engineering.
Students going on to study at postgraduate level can specialise even further and study subjects like agro-industry technology, community development, mechanical engineering, natural resource management and forestry.
Students can get involved with sports activities on campus and there are plenty of facilities for students to use including a swimming pool, soccer field, tennis courts, volleyball, field hockey, and judo building.
As well as sports, there are a variety of other clubs to get involved in including UKM Radio Kampus (campus radio), UKM-BS (culture and art) and UKM ZOOM (photography).
There’s also a student activity centre, which hosts a variety of artistic activities and exhibitions throughout the academic year.
The university also has partnerships with other universities worldwide offering students the chance to spend a year studying abroad. These partnerships have also paved the way for faculty exchange and advanced research opportunities.
Lampung University offers a small number of scholarships designed to recognise and award academic excellence.
