About University of Garmian
The University of Garmian is a public university located in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq. Established in 2012, the university offers a range of academic degrees at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
Undergraduate and postgraduate students can choose to study programmes from eight colleges (education, basic education, language and human science, science, physical education and sports science, medicine, agricultural engineering sciences, computer and information technology) and two departments (law and civil engineering).
The University of Garmian is involved in community engagement initiatives, focusing on the social and economic development of the region through education and research.
