About The National University of Ostroh Academy
The National University of Ostroh Academy (NUOA) is a higher educational institution accredited by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine. NUOA combines rigorous training with a rich cultural atmosphere, one that helps students to gain greater understanding of Ukrainian history and culture. First founded in 1576 and then re-established in 1994, NUOA enjoys an excellent reputation all over Ukraine and abroad. NUOA is the only Ukrainian University recorded in the Guinness World Records after a 456 hour reading of T. Shevchenko’s poetry without a break in 2014. NUOA offers undergraduate, graduate and postgraduate programmes in law, economics, history, cultural and political studies, psychology, international relations, PR and linguistics, and journalism. The scientific library is the first digitalised library in the region.
