About Nanjing Forestry University

Nanjing Forestry University is located in Nanjing, China.

The university was established in 1952 through the merger of the forestry departments from Wuhan University, Nanchang University, and Hubei Agricultural College. It has been operating under its current name since 1985.

There are 20 schools and departments at the university including forest resources and environment, chemical engineering, landscape architecture, science, art and design, economics and management and information science and technology among others.

The university is home to a number of laboratries, research centres and research institutes including the Research Institute of Forest Protection, Research Institute of Transportation and Research Institute of Landscape Design among others.
