Air – turning emissions into opportunities

We solve air pollution problems and aim for a world with fewer emissions. Our experts turn emissions into products with new technology, such as power-to-x (P2X).

Water – refining sidestreams into value

Our expertise in water purification meets complex water treatment needs. While ensuring clean water, we also discover raw materials from sidestreams and help refine them into value.

To maximize our impact, we work closely with companies and other organizations. With our help, companies can reinvent themselves and grow sustainably, creating value in a digital economy. We strongly promote entrepreneurship stemming from our scientific research.

Technology, business and social sciences

We offer degree programmes in the fields of technology, business and social sciences. Our graduates are experts in technological and economic development and sustainability – they are tomorrow’s responsible decision-makers.

Our programmes focus on issues that require global action, such as climate change mitigation, the availability of clean water, energy and air, and the sustainable renewal of businesses. We offer over 20 master’s and 8 bachelor’s programmes as well as doctoral, exchange and seasonal programmes with English as the language of instruction.

Our degree programmes are developed in close cooperation with industry, ensuring studies are relevant to the changing needs of our graduates’ future professions.

Internationally accredited programmes

Most of our programmes have education quality labels from international accreditation organisations, such as EUR-ACE, Euro-Inf and ASIIN in technology and AACSB and EFMD in business.

World-class laboratories

We offer great study facilities with high-technology laboratories. Many classes are taught in labs that allow the use of computer modelling, 3D imaging, and virtual reality for conducting experiments.
