About Kaohsiung Medical University
Kaohsiung Medical University (KMU) sits in the heart of Kaohsiung, the second largest city in Taiwan. KMU, established in 1954, is the first private medical university in Taiwan. KMU consists of seven colleges and is the only school that provides the post baccalaureate medicine programme in Taiwan. KMU is currently running dual PhD degree programmes with Upsalla University in Sweden, the University of Szeged in Hungary and the University of California, Irvine.
