About International IT University
The International IT University, the only university in Kazakhstan accredited by ASIIN, focuses on training specialists for the digital age and advancing knowledge for societal development.
Situated in Almaty, one of Kazakhstan's most diverse cities, it was once the nation's capital and is now its largest city with a population exceeding two million. Almaty is nestled in the northern foothills of the Trans-Illi Alatau.
The university comprises eight schools and departments, including those for media communications, computer engineering, mathematics, economics, languages, military training, information systems, and radio engineering, electronics, and telecommunications.
Students are encouraged to engage in various extracurricular activities and clubs, including debate, music, business, cinema, IT, and charity organisations.
International collaboration is vital, with partnerships established with institutions like Arkansas State University, Prague Development Centre, Microsoft, London Academy of Management Sciences, and St. Petersburg State University to facilitate academic, scientific, and technological exchanges.
