About The Government Sadiq College Women University Bahawalpur
The Government Sadiq College Women University Bahawalpur is located in Southern Punjab named after its founder Nawab Sir Sadiq Khan Abbasi V.
It was founded in 1944 as an intermediate college for women, and in 1957 was transformed into a degree college. In 2010 the university became a postgraduate college.
There are four main faculties at the university: science, business and management studies, arts, and education, across which students can study a range of courses from chemistry to fashion, art and design.
Students at the university can use a wide range of facilities including a library, hostel, cafeteria, Islamic centre and health centre. There are also a range of clubs and societies for students to get involved with during their downtime. There’s sports club, debate, drama, arts and crafts, flower arranging contests, culinary arts and fashion design for students.
