About Gdańsk University of Technology
Gdańsk University of Technology (Gdańsk Tech) is a fully autonomous state university. It continuously develops and pays attention to providing the highest quality education in order to meet the needs of the dynamically developing economy and society. The university undergoes a cyclical accreditation assessment.
There are eight faculties, over 40 study programmes in Polish and nearly 20 in English. There are also doctoral schools offering studies in three fields of science under which 14 disciplines of science are available to choose, one MBA course accredited by AMBA. There are over 80 hectares of university campus, nearly 2,500 places in 13 students halls of residence and more than 15,000 students.
Gdańsk Tech holds a range of international accreditations and distinctions including ACEEU, EUA-IEP, IQA CEEMAN, and HR Excellence in Research. Gdańsk Tech participate in numerous international consortia and associations, such as CESAER, EUA, ENHANCE Alliance.
