About Cambrian College
Cambrian College is a college of applied arts and technology in Greater Sudbury, Ontario.
Cambrian College offers 80 full-time programmes and 900 part-time courses and programmes.
The various programmes at Cambrian College are organised across seven areas: business and information technology; creative arts, design and music; health sciences, nursing and emergency services; engineering technology; law and justice; safety and environmental studies and general studies. The college also offers programmes in community services and skilled trades training including carpentry, welding and heating and ventilation among others.
Class sizes at Cambrian College tend to be small and students are encouraged to take part in co-ops, placements, and community projects.
The college also offers a number of graduate certificate programmes which can be completed either full-time, part-time or with the flex learning option.
The college has three campus locations in northern Ontario: Sudbury, Espanola, and Little Current / Manitoulin Island.
The Student Life Centre is a key part of campus student life where students can grab some food, meet up with their friends and also attend concerts and events.
All courses are taught in English.
Facilities include an athletics centre with a 6,000² ft modern training facility, three squash courts and a double gymnasium. It also a has bookstore, test centre, learning centre, a cafeteria and a number of Tim Horton’s restaurants, which are a chain of popular Canadian fast food establishments.
