About UIT University
UIT University, formerly known as Usman Institute of Technology, is a not-for-profit institution located in Karachi, Pakistan. Established in 1994, UIT University attained the status of a full-fledged university on December 18, 2021, by the Governor of Sindh, Imran Ismail.
It offers undergraduate programmes in engineering, business management, and computer science.
The institute has partnerships with institutions like Hamdard University and Dalhousie University in Canada.
UIT University has various student organisations like the UITCS ACM Student Chapter, promoting computing and IT interests, and the UIT University Literary Society, facilitating intellectual discourse.
