About Dulaty University
Dulaty University, established in 1996 and located in Almaty, Kazakhstan, has evolved through various stages of development, with a history dating back to the mid-20th century.
The university's roots trace back to 1958 when it was known as the Zhambyl Technological Institute of Light and Food Industries. Over the years, it underwent several name changes and leadership transitions. In 1991, it became the Zhambyl Technological Institute of Light and Food Industries under the leadership of O.K. Madiev.
In 2020, the institution transformed into M.Kh. Dulaty Taraz Regional University under the leadership of M.N. Sarybekov.
Dulaty University comprises several institutes and faculties, including the Institute "Ustaz," institute of water management, ecology and construction, faculty of humanities and social sciences, faculty of art and sports, faculty of technology, faculty of information technology, faculty of economics and law, distance education faculty, military department, and Karatau mining and technological college.
These divisions reflect the university's commitment to providing a diverse range of educational and research opportunities for its students and the broader community.
