About University of Kairouan

The University of Kairouan was established in 2004 in the city of the Maghreb.

The institution covers a number of provinces and has responsibility for higher education in Sidi Bouzid and Kasserine as well as Kairouan.

The faculty of letters and human sciences is one of seven faculties based in Kairouan along with arts and crafts, computer science and management, law and political studies, applied science and technology, applied maths, and engineering. Sidi Bouzid is where the faculties of science and technology and arts and crafts are located. Kasserine is home to the faculties of applied science and technology and arts and crafts, with an outpost at Sbeitla in the same province teaching applied sciences.
