About Nueva Ecija University of Science and Technology (NEUST)

The Nueva Ecija University of Science and Technology (NEUST) can trace its origins to a vocational course at the Wright Institute in San Isidro, Nueva Ecija. It was introduced to help train students in the fields of woodworking and basic telegraphy.

In 1929 the institute became Nueva Ecija Trade School (NETS). Three years later, the school moved to Cabanatuan City to meet the increasing demand for vocational education. In 1953 the school was transformed into the Central Luzon School of Arts and Trades. It was renamed Nueva Ecija University of Science and Technology in 1998.

The university is in the province of Nueva Ecija, in the Central Luzon region of the Philippines.

The university consists of six campuses across Nueva Ecija: General Tinio Street Campus, Sumacab Campus, San Isidro Campus, Gabaldon Campus, Atate Campus, and Fort Magsaysay Campus.

Academically, the university is organised into 10 colleges: architecture, arts and sciences, criminology, education, engineering, industrial technology, information and communication technology, management and business technology, nursing, public administration and disaster management. Each college offers a range of undergraduate degree programmes.

There is also the graduate school which is based in the General Tinio Street Campus. The school offers several master’s and doctoral degree programmes, such as master of arts, master of business administration, and doctor of education.
