About Canadore College
Canadore College is a college of applied arts and technology located in North Bay, Ontario. Founded in 1967 as a campus of Sudbury's Cambrian College, it became an independent institution in 1972.
Canadore College offers more than 65 full-time post-secondary programmes, focused in several academic sectors: aviation technology; business and management; community justice and police studies; culinary arts; environmental studies and biotechnology and health, human care and wellness indigenous studies.
Canadore College offers many facilities - there is an on-campus dental clinic and health and wellness centre, which is the first facility of its kind in Canada and aims to educate the next generation of the country's health professionals. It blends Indigenous, Eastern and Western practices, and offers student-led clinics, custom built classrooms, and a traditional Indigenous ceremony space.
The college offers a number of experiential learning experiences such as work placements, clinical placements, research projects, job shadowing and internships among others.
The Post Production Centre offers its services to the film, television, and video production industry.
