About Mangalore University
Established in 1980, Mangalore University is located in Mangalore, an industrial port city in the Indian state of Karnataka.
Academically, the university is organised into four faculties: Faculty of Arts, Faculty of Science and Technology, Faculty of Commerce, and the Faculty of Education. Within each faculty are different departments, which offer a wide variety of undergraduate and graduate degree programmes.
Students can get involved in a range of activities including sports teams and student-led organisations.
The Centre for Advanced Research in Environmental Radioactivity and the Centre for Application of Radioisotopes and Radiation Technology are just two of the university's research centres.
