About Thomas More University

Thomas More College is a small liberal arts college founded in 1921 by Benedictine Sisters as Villa Madonna College, and is based in the State of Kentucky.

Students can choose from 42 undergraduate academic majors such as accountancy, art, biology, business administration, communication, criminal justice, economics, education, English, forensic chemistry, health care management, history, humanities, international studies, laws, management information systems, mathematics, medical laboratory science, nursing, philosophy, physics, political science, psychology, sociology, Spanish, sports and entertainment marketing, theatre, theology and others.

In addition to their major, as an undergraduate, students will also have to study a Core Curriculum which aims to develop skills such as effective written and oral communication, critical thinking and effective use of computer technology, as well as their knowledge and understanding of the laws of nature, other cultures, aesthetics and art, and Christian scripture and ethics.

The campus is located on Crestview Hills, close to central Cincinnati.

 Students have the opportunity to travel to Jamaica and along the Mexican border, to build homes for the charity Habitat for Humanity and provide tax assistance and tutoring for local communities.
