At least six of Australia's universities have been blacklisted as sources of junk email by Microsoft-owned internet provider WebTV. External spammers have allegedly been using relay holes in their systems to transmit junk. Melbourne, Sydney, Queensland, Adelaide, Monash and the Australian National universities were blocked from sending emails to WebTV customers.
