(Photograph) - Super model: The first phase of the new University College of Lincolnshire campus is to be built on the derelict 15-hectare site which the Royal Fine Arts Commission called "the missing jewel in Lincoln's crown". The central building, designed by architects RMJM and featuring a barrel-vaulted steel roof clad with zinc, has just been given planning permission. It will be completed in time for its first students in October 1996.
