In The THES, July 26, under the heading "Southampton Review" you stated . . . "following votes of no confidence from staff headed by Geoffrey Hall" . . . This is totally untrue. I have in fact been commissioned as consultant by the governors of the institute to conduct an independent review of communications within the institute and make recommendations.
