I read the letter detailing what exactly "voluntary" redundancies at the University of East London were as I was sitting on a bus admiring a poster urging students to register for the bright, go-ahead University of East London.
The student occupation there does indeed suggest that it is an interesting place to be, but the well-paid managers who run the place might reflect that money is better spent on lecturers than it is on advertisements on London buses.
