Imperial, Cambridge and Bristol all climb a place while Oxford drops from first to fourth

The public health, health services and primary care unit of assessment table was topped by Imperial College London, with a GPA of 3.77, up from 3.46 last time. The University of Cambridge also improved one place to second with a GPA of 3.69, up from 3.41, as did the University of Bristol, which climbed from fourth to third. 

The University of Oxford – first place in 2014 – dropped to fourth despite improving its GPA from 3.48 to 3.63. Queen Mary University of London dropped from fifth in 2014 to 20th this time as its GPA stayed the same, at 3.29. 

At a national level the Public Health, Health Services and Primary Care UoA has a GPA of 3.46, with with 55 per cent of its submission rated 4*. 2031.52 FTE staff were submitted to this UoA.
