In response to "How to get online job advice" (THES, March 5), I write on behalf of the Postgraduate Students Working Party, which the Association of Graduate Careers Advisory Services set up in 1997 to improve services to postgraduates.
We train careers staff working with postgraduates and share resources such as a researchers' guide to job search via the internet, accessible at www.strath.ac.uk/Departments/Careers/guide/. To alert employers to the benefits of recruiting postgraduates, we work closely with the Association of Graduate Recruiters.
