Bodies of learning

In successive editions of the Letters and Opinion columns of The THES we have had references to "academics working their balls off","the substantial proportion of academics who are "working their tits off" and, last week, "breeding the next generation of smart-arse book reviewers". The anatomy of knowledge indeed.
