In this interview, president and vice-chancellor of the University of Surrey, Max Lu, comments on the newfound agility of universities as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic.
Although this uncertain time has presented a huge challenge to universities, he is optimistic that they will emerge on the other side with new and improved opportunities that will lead to positive change.
He notes that universities have had to become more agile and learn to adapt to different technologies to enhance virtual communication.
Professor Lu hopes that through this period of remote learning, universities will be able to develop immersive online learning experiences that will be more flexible for students around the world.
