While issues surrounding student debt are being raised (Opinion, Letters, THES, February 9) no one is mentioning graduate debt.
I left university nearly a year ago, and during my three years I notched up three student loans. After graduating I found a job, but had to take out a graduate loan to buy a car so I could get there.
It seems to be a vicious circle of debt from student to graduate life. I still have a large overdraft from university, am finding it increasingly hard to pay off debts and I still live on the breadline.
I see people my age who got jobs straight after sixth form earning a lot more than me and I am starting to ask whether it was all worth it.
