Loughborough University has the best student accommodation in the UK, according to reviews from thousands of students.
Reviews from 17,929 current students in the UK on StudentCrowd (a university reviews website) revealed the 20 universities that consistently provided the best quality accommodation.
The universities were rated between one and five on several different factors, such as value for money, location, cleaning, social spaces, social experience, Wi-Fi and hall management.
Loughborough University came out on top, with Durham University in second place. The University of St Andrews was the only Scottish university in the top 20 at number three. The majority of the universities were located in the Midlands and in the north of England.
Two Welsh universities feature in the list: Bangor University (8) and Aberystwyth University (19).
