THE are looking for a full time Data Scientist who wants to roll their sleeves up and help create consulting solutions data; they will be instrumental in helping deliver our suite of rankings and products. You will primarily be responsible for building and maintaining consulting data resources and providing analytics to consultants for their projects with external customers. You will also be helping to produce a selection of our rankings and products, assisting with methodology, and providing detailed analysis to support internal and external customers. You will be an advisor on related data analytics matters across the company, so the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders across the business is paramount. This roles involves some working across time zones, different cultures and companies.

Reporting to a Senior Data Scientist, you will be responsible for producing a selection of our rankings and products, developing methodology, and providing detailed analysis to support internal and external customers. You will act as an advisor on related data analytics matters across the company, so the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders across the business is paramount. While primarily working with colleagues in the UK, this also involves some working across time zones, different cultures and companies. You will also be expected to undertake research into new datasets, analytics and tooling to support the growth of the company.

This delivery focused Scrum Master-Delivery Manager role reports to the Delivery Management Director and sits within our Delivery Management team comprising QA engineers, Business Analysts, Project Managers and Scrum Masters. We work alongside the Product and Engineering teams to deliver THE’s data and digital products and features. You will manage and support all Scrum activity for our Student (B2C), Campus (B2B) and Academic (B2C) squads. You will be responsible for the co-ordination and day to day activity of these squads.

In this hands-on role you'll play a crucial part in everything we do to improve quality, speed up development time, and ship features and products quickly and safely. Our system architecture is a headless CMS (Drupal) and AWS hosted front end (React, NextJs). The QA team currently using Selenium and Cypress. Proven experience within this environment and with these tools would be an advantage.

This is a great opportunity to help drive our ambitious growth plans in creating commercial analytic products. You will be responsible for creating reports and dashboards in Tableau for our commercial products, ensuring that THE has a polished and usable suite of products for our customers. You will ensure that the reports and dashboards satisfy the product requirements, and offer suggestions and enhancements to improve the products. The datasets will be provided by our Data Scientists; you will be expected to feedback any quality issues and ideas to improve the data. You will also be liaising with our commercial and product teams, including demonstrating how products work. Additionally, there will be requirement to demonstrate products to our customers remotely.

The role will provide a critical function within the business and will be responsible for ensuring effective processes are in place.
