About University of Wollongong

The University of Wollongong is a public university in the coastal city of Wollongong, Australia. It was established in 1951.

The university has nine campuses in Australia, and opened the University of Wollongong Dubai in the United Arab Emirates in 1993.

There are five faculties at the university: business; engineering and information sciences; law, humanities and the arts; science, medicine and health and social sciences.

The Wollongong Undergraduate Students' Association produces a magazine called Tertangala which features news, features, artwork, opinion, film and music reviews mostly written by students. The magazine has been running for 48 years.

The university has international exchange agreements with over 140 universities across the Asia-Pacific, Europe, the Americas, the Utrecht Network and in Dubai.
