About Valaya Alongkorn Rajabhat University
Valaya Alongkorn Rajabhat University has a history that dates back to 1932 when Princess Valaya Alongkorn of Phetchaburi donated 64 hectares of land to the Ministry of Education to improve the education of Thai women. As a result, the Petchburiwittay Alongkorn Teacher Training School was established.
The university is officially recognised by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation of Thailand.
The university is located in Pathum Thani, one of the central provinces of Thailand.
There are seven faculties within the university: faculty of education, faculty of management science, faculty of science and technology, faculty of industrial technology, faculty of agricultural technology, faculty of humanities and social sciences, and the faculty of public health. Each faculty is divided into different departments, which offer a range of undergraduate degree programmes.
The university’s graduate school provides students with the opportunity to further their studies. The school offers a variety of degree programmes at both master’s and doctoral level.
There is also the college of management innovation which offers four undergraduate degree programmes: bachelor of business administration, bachelor of arts (in English), bachelor of business administration (international programme), and bachelor of business administration (bilingual course). It also offers two master’s programmes: master of public administration and master of science, as well as two doctoral level courses: doctor of philosophy and doctor of public administration.
