About IMT Nord Europe
IMT Nord Europe is an engineering postgraduate university. The Nord Europe campuses are located in the heart of Hauts-de-France, on three sites in Villeneuve d’Ascq and Douai.
Faculties at the university include environment, energies, plastics processing, digital technology, telecommunications, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, industrial performance, industrial engineering, and civil engineering.
In their third year, Engineering students have the opportunity to study in another school in the IMT group for six months in a course not offered on their campus.
At IMT Nord Europe it is compulsory for all engineering students to take part in half a day of sport a week. There’s over 27 different sports to choose from, including athletics, rowing, golf, bodybuilding, horse riding, dancing and zumba. The sports teams often take part in regional, national and international meetings such as the EDHEC Sailing Cup.
Every year, the IMT produces around 100 start ups, supported by the school's business incubators. The APUI Incubator is an integral part of Nord Europe, aimed at anyone who wants to create a company prioritising technological innovation in energy, environmental technologies and sustainable development. Students who join the incubator have access to personalised support, a wide range of resources, training and advice and sources of project funding.
