About Musashi University
Musashi University was first established in Tokyo, Japan in 1922 as a junior and senior high school before it developed into its current state. The faculty of economics was established in 1949, humanities in 1969 and sociology in 1997.
There are also three graduate schools within the institution.
The university is located on a small campus in Ekoda.
There are a range of activities and programmes for international students including monthly field trips to explore Tokyo, campus mates and and English speaking society.
All students at the university have the opportunity to join clubs and sports teams including baseball, rugby, swimming, archery, art, ballroom dancing, astronomy club and modern jazz among many others. There is also a student newspaper.
