John Randall's assertion that quality failings in further education colleges are disproportionately high does not present a complete picture of higher education in FE.
While it is clear that many FE colleges delivering HE independently of an HE partner have not scored well in teaching quality assessments, those in a partnership with a local university present a much more reassuring picture.
