PolyU has been harnessing its world-class research and knowledge transfer capabilities to make a positive impact. Our notable research innovations span across Deep Space Exploration, Smart Cities, Materials & Sensing Technology, Life Sciences & Healthcare, AI & Robotics and Advanced Manufacturing. PolyU has contributed to the Nation’s first Mars mission with the Mars camera and co-established Hong Kong’s first Aviation Services Research Centre with Boeing to develop technologies for the aviation industry, to name but a few.
