About University of Faisalabad
The University of Faisalabad was established in 2002 with the aim to bring more educational opportunities to the city. The third largest city in Pakistan, Faisalabad is located in the northeast of the Punjab region.
There are 19 departments at the University of Faisalabad. There are several science departments, including biochemistry, computational sciences, and engineering which includes civil, chemical, electrical, and engineering technology. There’s also a range of medical departments including dermatology, nursing, optometry, radiology, pathology and pharmacy.
The range of disciplines isn’t limited to the sciences. For students wanting to pursue careers in languages and linguistics, the university has two main departments; Arabic and Islamic studies and English language and literature. There are also design and interiors and management studies departments offering a range of courses for students.
The university has a range of student societies and encourages students to join. There’s also a graffiti competition, workshops, sports week, and planned visits to other cities and countries to help international students soak up as much culture as possible during their studies.
